Meet Dianna Aubin

North Carolina author Dianna Aubin has been writing stories since she was eleven years old. What began as a childhood passion has now evolved into a lifelong creative pursuit. Today, Dianna has written over 100 books, and she’s finally bringing those stories to readers around the world.

“I’ve been writing for decades,” she says. “But only recently did I start editing and publishing the stories I’ve been carrying in my heart all these years.”

At 58, Dianna continues to embrace her love for storytelling sharing tales that blend heart, history, and a touch of the supernatural. At home, she writes alongside her husband and two black cats, Pepper and Shadow, who keep her company (and occasionally take over her desk).

The Story Behind The Welcome on the Mantle

Dianna’s latest book, The Welcome on the Mantle, draws inspiration from a story close to her heart. “A dear friend of mine adopted her foster daughter,” she explains. “Watching their bond grow inspired me to capture that beautiful journey of love, belonging, and family.”

The book explores themes of acceptance, second chances, and the quiet miracles that happen when people open their hearts to one another.
